AGICO MKF2

MFK2 series of Kappabridges are the updated versions of the advanced Multifunction Kappabridges MFKI These are the world’s most sensitive commercially available laboratory instruments for measuring anisotropy of magnetic susceptibility (AMS) and bulk magnetic susceptibility in weak variable magnetic fields (field range from 2 A/m to 700 A/m, peak values).

AGICO 3D Rotator

3D-Rotator brings increased speed and better comfort of anisotropy of magnetic susceptibility measurements. The 3D-Rotator rotates the specimen simultaneously about two axes with different velocities.

 

AGICO CS4

The CS4 High Temperature Furnace Apparatus is optional attachment for KLY5-A and MFKI-FA/A Ka- ppabridges designed for measurement of the temperature variations of
low-field magnetic susceptibi-lity of minerals, rocks and synthetic materials in the temperature range from ambient temperature to 7000C.

AGICO CS-L

The CS-L Low Temperature Cryostat Apparatus is optional attachment for KLY series and MFK1-FA/A Kappabridges designed for measurement of the temperature variation of low-field magnetic susceptibility of minerals, rocks and synthetic materials in the temperature range from -192°C to ambient temperature. CS4 (or CS-3) apparatus is mandatory prerequisity for CS-L system

AGICO JR-6A

The JR-6/JR-6A magnetometer consists of an integrated pick-up and measurement control unit, and a power supply unit. All functions are microprocessor-controlled. The microprocessor controls mea surement, carries out digital filtration Of the signal, controls and tests the speed of specimen rotation.The JR-6/JR-6A automatically executes tests for erroneous conditions. The measurement process is fully controlled by a PC notebook or desktop.

AGICO LDA5

The LDA5 Alternating Field Demagnetizer serves for demagnetizing of rock or soil specimens by exposing them to an alternating magnetic field. Alternating field demagnetization is one of the principal techniques used in paleomagnetic research in order to isolate the characteristic components of the natural remanent magnetization.

AGICO PAM 1 Anhysteretic

The PAM 1 Anhysteretic / Pulse Magnetizer (optional extension of the LDA5 AF Demagnetizer) serves for a deliberate anhysteretic or isothermal magnetization of a rock or soil specimen.
Controlled acquisition of anhysteretic or isothermal magnetization is essential for several rock magnetic identification techniques used in paleomagnetism, rock and environmental magnetism.
